Unusual topper that is somewhere between a snood and a beret, but with an open crown. It dates to the early 1960's and is crocheted of a synthetic raffia type fiber and embellished with hand-dyed velvet roses in gold, olive, and black, plus a smattering of black velvet bows for good measure. One size fits most.
